Everything I read tells me it will get better, but LORD am I hungry. I know now that I could not survive on a desert island. I am giving this two more days and then I am eating my cats.
Ok, not really, but if I had a pet pig he would be in serious danger.
Remember if you decide to eat the cats... Blend well! You will get thru this... It's head hunger and it is very tough to overcome. What are you allowed? Sometimes, yogurt helps if you are allowed it, protein shakes definitely help the hunger...too. But all pre-op diets are different. I wasn't hungry at all on mine but it was optifast and there was alot protein and low everything else...*Maria*-blogger from "This one time at BAND Camp..." check out my blog at mybigfatbandgeeklife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteNicole you can do this! I will be right behind you (and good to know on eating the cats thing - there is a very large kitty at my parents house who is screaming out to be eaten! Ha!)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it, but I know it's hard. I am honestly surprised that I still have friends after how bitchy I became thanks to the pre-op diet LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou know what just reading this made me laugh!! I thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and inspiration on my blog. I'm so glad you found me and now I've found you and am following you lady.
ReplyDeleteIts hard with the pre-diet thing. I did it (self imposed) for 1 week before surgery. I just buckled down and did it. I lost 8 pounds. So I know you can do it. Remember you come from survivors! Thank you again for your comment on my blog. You truly made me smile.
Oh and can I just say for the record that I ♥ you cause you live in NYC. I so want to visit there and have had thoughts of moving ala SATC and this blogger called Belle in Brooklyn. You have the life living there. Or so it seems....maybe I watch to many movies and tv, LOL!!!
